ProCell Microchanneling
Description:
Microneedling and Microchanneling treatments offer an effective way to address common skin concerns, including wrinkles, scars, and hair loss. By creating thousands of micro-channels in the skin, these treatments allow for deep infusion of Procell serum, a peptide-rich formula that supports cellular turnover. This process boosts collagen production, enhances radiance, and stimulates cellular regeneration. Ideal for treating areas like the face, neck, hands, and knees, it can also reduce the appearance of stretch marks, acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. Over time, these treatments help smooth, firm, and revitalize the skin, restoring elasticity and a more youthful appearance.
Hair Treatment:
Treatments can be done every 2-3 weeks, with a minimum of four sessions recommended for best results. Procell suggests a yearly touch-up, typically requiring just one session, although additional treatments are available if desired. Touch-ups are priced at $250.
Treatment Cycle:
Every 4 weeks. Minimum of 3 treatments are required to see results.
Length of One Treatment:
20 minute consultations are required. Treatments will take up to 45 minutes.
Comfort Level:
Mild-moderate discomfort
Sessions:
4-6 sessions are recommended. During your consultation, our technician will access the area to best determine the treatment cycle time and the number of visits recommended to achieve the results you desire.
Service Levels:
There are two levels of service, customized based on skin condition and treatment area.
For mild skin concerns like fine lines and light scarring, treatment is gentler and doesn’t require numbing, resulting in a shorter session and reduced cost. Starting with these lighter treatments can help prevent the need for more intensive procedures in the future.
For moderate to severe conditions, such as deeper wrinkles or scarring, treatment is more intensive and may include numbing for comfort, with sessions lasting up to one hour. The first session will be mild and won’t include numbing, allowing for a gradual approach to more intensive treatment as needed.

Do I have to use the MicroChanneling solution / aftercare serums?
MicroChanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines and growth factors that induce collagen production. As you get older, the stem cells that produce these vital proteins lose efficacy and decline in population, so microchanneling alone becomes less and less effective. Because of premature aging the MicroChannel Delivery Serum, and the post care Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator become more necessary to produce improvement. Use of the Livra products ensure the skin continuously receives potent, robust, pristine peptides, cytokines and growth factors even in between treatments. Think of diet and exercise – MicroChanneling without serums is like exercising without dieting. Results will be good with MicroChanneling only, great with serums.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
- If you get cold sores regulary, taking acyclovir or valcyclovir starting one day prior to your microchanneling will reduce the likelihood of a breakout due to your treatment.
- Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least 3 days prior to treatment.
- For your first treatment, (and treatments at .25mm in general) numbing cream is typically not necessary, and you can expect mild redness and swelling, and a tight, warm sensation for between 4 & 24 hours.
- Later treatments with longer needle lengths may require topical numbing cream, and can produce redness and swelling along with tiny flecks of redness for between 4 & 72 hours.
- If your liver, kidneys and immune system are healthy, taking an NSAID such as Ibuprofen 2 hours before treatment may reduce any discomfort.
- If you are being treated for hair loss, please arrive at the office with the shortest haircut possible and clean hair. Please do not apply sprays or gels.
- If you are being treated with PRP or PRF drink an extra 24-32 oz of water for two to three days prior to treatment.
